I don’t try to create or control light—I observe it as it exists and let it shape the image.
My work focuses on women, motherhood, and families, capturing moments that feel honest and lived-in. I am also interested in helping document your love story at any of it's stages. Nature is never just a backdrop, but a part of the story.
I’m drawn to the in-between moments—the passing expressions, subtle gestures, and real emotion that often go unnoticed. The result is imagery that reflects life as it is: simple, intimate, and deeply human.
"Rain was a phenomenal photographer for many reasons for our maternity shoot. Firstly, she truly has the artistic eye and is not afraid to be transparent letting us know “this is not working, let's move on” in certain areas that look promising to the eye but based on the shot she was not getting her vision. That being said, there were plenty of areas where she had a vision and until I saw the photos I simply could not see what she saw, but trusted her eye. Boy am I glad I did. Rain was also so fun to be around and lived in the present moment with us. I would say that is what I was most impressed by is how she will do anything to get the shot. She was in the lake with me, getting down in the sand with her expensive camera and just had fun which made the session more comfortable and personable. She was so excited about every opportunity to capture the beauty around us and I cannot recommend her enough. Great communication, punctual, kind and professional."
